Medical education in India has always been much talked about for its quality, endurance, and proclivity. There are 235 Government Medical Colleges in India having a total of 31,727 MBBS seats. Besides, there are 9 AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) offering 800 MBBS seats. However, when compared to the number of candidates appearing in the exam, medical seats are just meager.
Admission in Medical Course through NEET 2019
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is medical entrance examination conducted in India, for students aspiring to study graduate and postgraduate medical courses such as MBBS, MD, and MS. The exam is also for aspirants who intend to secure seats in dental courses like BDS and MDS, in either government or private medical colleges. NEET-UG (Undergraduate), for MBBS and BDS courses, is administered by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) which also administers the NEET-SS. As a matter of fact, NEET-UG had replaced All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) as well as individual MBBS exams.
Admission in AIIMS MBBS – Undergraduate Medical Course for 2019 Session
AIIMS, New Delhi has initiated the process of code generation, leading the way towards final registration of AIIMS MBBS on January 29, 2019. Prospective candidates who have completed their basic registration application and received formal acceptance by AIIMS authority become eligible for generating the codes until February 17, 2019, and maximum to 5.00 PM. Candidates can verify their registration by visiting the AIIMS website.

On the other hand, prospective candidates whose registration form has got rejected primarily because they have uploaded incorrect images on AIIMS MBBS registration page should upload the correct format and version of their images latest by Feb 5, 2019. If application form is accepted by authorities candidates will get the advantage of generating code for final registration. It is essential for the prospective candidates to execute the basic as well as final registration to sit in the entrance exam. The AIIMS MBBS 2019 entrance examination for admission in AIIMS is scheduled for May 25 and 26, 2019 respectively.
AIIMS MBBS 2019 is taken on two days in two shifts – morning and evening. AIIMS MBBS entrance examination has 200 multiple choice questions. The merit list of entrance examination will be published on June 12, 2019. Counseling session will be held for successful candidates.
